Well we tried to go out in Cheadle on Saturday night but found the place utterly devoid of any restaurants (other than a very empty hotel restaurant and some take-aways). The atmosphere was not particularly inspirational - a group of hooded youths hanging round the supermarket car park, scruffy middle-aged men scurrying back home with their take-aways, various neon-enriched Vauxhall Corsas driving past at speed etc. etc.
However Katie did manage to take a lovely photo of the illuminated spire of the church...
We then went to Forsbrook for a very nice Indian meal.
