A busy time

I apologise for not having updated the blog recently, despite promises of further posts on West Bromwich and other projects. In fact this has been an extremely busy period. The West Bromwich work was followed by Easter, a few days of iron smelting, the chance to drive some very fast cars around a wet racing track, my debut as a wedding photographer, and then three weeks editing a volume on Danish archaeology, finishing a paper on early 19th century metallurgy, and - of course - working on my PhD.

In addition to which I have been working on several other projects. Including writing up someone else's poorly-recorded excavstion. Somewhere in there we also went to the IfA conference, and I have been organising an Historical Metallurgy meeting to take place next week.

So, normal service may be resumed in June...
